Haji Taslim Funerals was established in 1950 by the Late Syed Haji Taslim Ali. Today the company is still run by his son Mr Gulam Mabud Taslim and granddaughter Moona Taslim-Saif. The company is very much a family affair with many employees being relatives of our beloved founder.

Over the last 52 years the company has grown from being the first European Muslim Funeral Directors to the most recognised in the UK. This recognition is reflected in the clientele we serve, being the preferred choice for the Turkish, Morroccan, Algerian Consulates, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysian, Zimbabwe High Commissions, Sudanese and Bosnian Embassy and the Kosovan Community.

Our Services

We provide a professional and fully comprehensive service. Burials are undertaken all over the UK and our repatriation rates are extremely reasonable. If you choose to bury your loved ones in the UK, we will endeavour to arrange this at any cemetery you wish wherever possible. We have an extensive range of fleet vehicles to choose from including a Rolls Royce hearse and we can provide horse drawn carriages.

For those families who wish to hire following vehicles we have an excellent choice of limousines. We perform shroud burials wherever possible, but can also offer a range of coffins and caskets. If you choose to send your loved one abroad, we have zinc-lined coffins with a viewing window so families can see their dearly departed without disturbing them or removing them from the coffin.

We work alongside ALL airlines to find our clients the most reliable and economical ways to send brothers and sisters to their homeland. You will find our premises clean and well equipped. We have a cold storage facility and our washing area is air-conditioned. We encourage families to visit and take part in the ablutions and the mosque where we are based has a ladies sections, so sisters are very welcome.
